The highest point of the town is the “Paese alto” (litteraly “High village”) or “Vecchio incasato” (litteraly “Old village”). In the square Giuseppe Sacconi, heart of the Paese Alto there’s Gualtieri’s Tower, an old headquarter built in the 12th- 13th Century. This tower is a symbol of San Benedetto del Tronto and a point of interest. Today the Tower has also a clock.The house of the Bishop of San Benedetto del Tronto, Ripatransone and Montalto is in the same square of Torre dei Gualtieri.

Sentina National Park

If the Riviera delle Palme is not enough and you want to see more than the beach and the ocean, the Sentina National park is another beautiful experience in San Benedetto del Tronto. It’s not far from the hotel and you can easily reach it with a walk. It’s a protected area with so many species of birds and lots of biodiversity.

The Sentina Regional Nature Reserve is on the ocean and has a unique landscape with hills of sand, pine forests and Mediterranean Scrub. You’ll find so many plants and animals like birds, mammals and fish. This Nature Reserve in San Benedetto del Tronto has a big naturalistic value and is an amazing place to walk or go on a bike tour, to do sports or just relax in the nature.
